Vegetation Artist (SpeedTree)

Description Join our team of like-minded people passionate about a common goal and love for games as a Vegetation Artist (SpeedTree) for contract cooperation! Responsibilities • Create high-quality, optimized vegetation assets (trees, bushes, grass) using SpeedTree; • Model and texture accurately according to their species and natural characteristics; • Ensure assets meet technical and visual requirements for real-time engines (e.g., LODs, wind animation, lightmaps); • Understand and interpret concept art and environment briefs precisely; • Collaborate with environment and level design teams to integrate foliage seamlessly into game worlds; • Work with technical artists to maintain performance and consistency across platforms; • Contribute to world-building by shaping the natural look and feel of in-game environments. Qualifications • 2+ years of strong experience with SpeedTree for Games; • Solid understanding of real-world vegetation types and forms; • Proficiency in 3D modeling and texturing tools (e.g., Maya, Blender, Substance Painter, Photoshop); • Familiarity with PBR workflows and optimization techniques; • Ability to quickly learn the game engine as needed; • Ability to interpret and translate concept art into functional assets; • Understanding of LOD systems, wind animation, and lightmap preparation; • A good eye for natural composition and environmental storytelling; • English B1+ (speaking).
