We are seeking a talented Injury Prevention Professional / Athletic Trainer at our client site in Bath, Maine
Key Areas of Impact:
In this role, you will make a direct impact through the coordination and delivery of early intervention services with the overall focus being prevention of work-related injuries. Let's take a closer look You will...
- Conduct employee injury prevention programs, education, and training.
- Lead individual worksite assessments, injury prevention assessment, body mechanic coaching, well-being education, and Dynamic Warm-up sessions.
- Provide early intervention services for employees when warranted.
- Collect program data to support the program; manage and reports data for IPT services.
- Regular communication with Corporate IP&T Support for ongoing strategy, success of program, and service delivery review.
- Other duties as needed/assigned.
What you need to succeed:
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Athletic Training, or Exercise Science or other related field.
- Board Certified Athletic Trainer (BOC) Certification.
- Possess active state athletic training licensure.
- 2 + years? experience in athletic training.
- Current Adult First Aid and CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
- Ability to travel to other client locations.
- Ability to effectively work independently or as part of a team.
- Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
