We believe in fostering a culture of inclusivity, diversity, and respect, where every individual can thrive and reach their full potential. **Responsibilities** As a Ticket/Gate Agent at arenaflex, you will be responsible for: * Owning the check-in process, boarding process, and seat availability, including making gate announcements and ensuring customers have the accurate travel documentation. * Tagging and lifting baggage from scales to conveyor belts. Some bags will weigh up to 70 pounds. * Operating loading bridges. * Opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors. * Escorting unaccompanied minors and disabled passengers throughout the airport. **Key Qualifications** To succeed in this role, you will need to possess: * A high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. * Be at least 18 years of age and have authorization to work in the United States. * Proficiency in English. * Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation. * Basic digital literacy. * Ability to pass a physical ability test (PAT). * Ability to pass a Customer Service Assessment. * Ability to hold airport-specific requirements such as a SIDA Badge and Customs Seal. **Essential Skills and Competencies** To excel in this role, you will need to demonstrate: * Strong customer service skills, with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management. * Basic computer skills, with the ability to navigate our ticketing and baggage check-in systems. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. * Physical stamina to lift and move baggage, as well as operate loading bridges and secure aircraft doors. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
