Description:
• Support, develop, and drive technology partnerships for Starlink Mobile across modem, mobile OEM, IoT, and test equipment partners.
• Manage system interoperability, commercial agreements, regulatory compliance, and partner marketing activities.
• Develop and maintain certification roadmaps, procedures, and timelines aligned with product development cycles.
• Produce system documentation and roadmaps for internal stakeholders and partner executives.
• Support Technical Requirements Documentation covering interoperability requirements for partner products accessing the Starlink Mobile network.
• Coordinate with engineering, RF, protocol, and regulatory teams to ensure partner products meet conformance requirements.
• Manage certification testing campaigns, including test lab scheduling, failure resolution, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Track and report certification status, risks, budget, and key metrics to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Monitor regulatory and standards requirements, including 3GPP Releases 17 and beyond, and translate them into actionable compliance strategies.
• Lead end-to-end device certification programs for cellular, IoT, and NTN user equipment across global certification bodies and carrier requirements.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as engineering, physics, math, computer science, or information technology; or 5+ years of professional experience in partnership management, technical account management, or sales/pre-sales engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in partnership management, technical account management, or sales/pre-sales engineering.
• 2+ years of experience working in the telecommunications industry.
• 3+ years of experience in technical partnerships, technical sales, or technical engineering roles (preferred).
• Experience with UE testing.
• Experience with NTN and satellite-based telecommunications is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated success managing device certification programs for complex wireless products such as smartphones, modules, IoT devices, or base stations.
• Proven track record of building and managing industry partnerships with major OEMs and certification ecosystems.
• Strong interest in assessing market trends and identifying future business opportunities.
• Deep understanding or direct experience with 3GPP RAN5 specifications, test procedures, and conformance requirements for NR and NR-NTN.
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends when needed.
• Willingness to travel to SpaceX offices, vendors, and customers up to 40% of the time.
• Must meet ITAR eligibility requirements as a U.S. citizen/national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or otherwise be eligible for required U.S. Department of State authorizations.
