Tax Paralegal

We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Paralegal to join our dynamic team in San Francisco. Key Responsibilities: • Prepare, file, and monitor a variety of IRS tax election forms, including but not limited to Section 83(b), Forms 8832, 8875, 2553, 1023, and SS-4. • Engage with the IRS, clients, attorneys, and other agencies to ensure seamless tax filing processes. • Compile, manage, and distribute documents for signatures, maintaining original records and overseeing distribution. • Collaborate with tax group members and cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive support. • Identify and resolve issues related to tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate submissions. • Conduct thorough legal research on federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. • Monitor critical deadlines to ensure the timely filing of tax documents and legal submissions. • Perform other relevant duties as assigned. Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree required. • Experience as a paralegal in a law firm or a multinational company is essential. • Strong knowledge of California and federal tax regulations. • Proficiency in legal research tools and government databases. • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks, adhere to deadlines, and work independently. • High level of professionalism with outstanding organizational skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel) and legal case management software.
