• This is with a Public Accounting Firm and requires Public Accounting experience as well as an active CPA license* Job Title: Sr. Tax Manager Job Location: Hybrid Job Salary: $235k-$275k Requirements: 10+ Years of Public Accounting Tax Experience Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Tax Manager with audit experience to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for providing expert tax guidance and ensuring compliance with tax regulations, particularly in the real estate sector. The ideal candidate will leverage their CPA credentials and extensive tax knowledge to support our clients in navigating complex tax scenarios. Key Responsibilities • Manage and oversee tax compliance for various entities including S-Corporations, C-Corporations, Trusts, and partnerships. • Provide tax planning strategies to optimize client tax positions, focusing on real estate transactions. • Conduct audits of tax returns and financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Review and prepare individual tax returns including Form 1040, and advise clients on personal tax matters. • Stay updated with current tax laws and regulations, including PTET, 704(b), 163(j), and QBI to provide informed advice to clients. • Collaborate with internal teams to develop comprehensive tax solutions and assist clients with complex tax issues. Qualifications • Active CPA license required. • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in tax management and compliance, with a focus on real estate. • Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations. • Experience with tax returns for S-Corporations, C-Corporations, Trusts, and individual filings. • Familiarity with tax concepts such as step-up basis, PTET, 704(b), 163(j), and QBI is preferred. • Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
