This individual is an integral member of the Center of Excellence overseeing development and integration of the AdventHealth Way standards, guidelines, playbooks, and technologies. This individual is expected to have a deep understanding of healthcare design and construction and expertise in assigned relevant subject matter area on owner furnished equipment, design standards, construction program, and project controls and analytics. • Engages and manages cross-functional teams to identify roles, tasks, deliverables, dependencies, and schedules. • Ensures resolution and execution of system governance and standards. • Develops and implements industry best practices for design and construction project delivery workflows and project controls. • Evaluates current systems and processes to establish and maintain high standards for a comprehensive Center of Excellence program. • Utilize regional subject matter experts to inform rationalization and standardization of the processes, and methodologies that reduce variation, and increasing efficiency. • Reduces variation and increases efficiency in project delivery. • Supports the execution of key initiatives for the Center of Excellence. • Provide technical support and guidance to project teams, resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the construction delivery process. • Other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Expert knowledge of local Department of Health Administration regulations, JCAHO / DNV standards, and other applicable codes of the construction industry. [Required] • Expert knowledge of the design and construction industry and standard practices, and how they relate to healthcare facilities. [Required] • Expert understanding of architectural practices including master planning, feasibility studies, medical planning, building design and construction documents. [Required] • Comprehensive understanding of healthcare facilities space and functional programs in both acute and non acute settings. [Required] • Excellent project management, financial analysis, and strategic planning skills required [Required] • Ability to read and interpret construction documents, Revit, CAD drawings and related documents [Required] • Excellent oral, written and organizational skills [Required] • Effective computer skills, particularly Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and BlueBeam. [Required] • Ability to make appropriate decisions in stressful situations [Required] • Ability to build and maintain effective and productive teams [Required] • Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goals. [Required] • Experience launching new programs, teams and complex strategies across business units. [Preferred] • Able to optimize existing resources to achieve economies of scales. [Preferred] • Business and strategic plan development. [Preferred] Education: • Bachelor's [Required] • Master's [Preferred] Field of Study: • in Architecture, Engineering, Business, or related healthcare professional field Work Experience: • 8+ years experience in project or facilities management with an emphasis in healthcare.
