Position Summary
The Mid System Engineer / DevOps independently designs, implements, and maintains infrastructure and deployment solutions of moderate complexity. The role requires strong ownership of reliability, automation, and operational excellence, supporting product teams with scalable, secure, and repeatable environments.
You will join a DevOps team that supports development teams, deploys applications and infrastructure changes to customer production environments, and helps investigate and resolve production issues.
Who we are looking for?
We are looking for someone who feels confident working with Linux, understands production infrastructure, and can cooperate effectively with development teams. The ability to automate repetitive tasks, support customer deployments, and efficiently diagnose production issues will be important in this role.

You will:
Support development teams in infrastructure, CI/CD, and automation
Deploy applications and infrastructure changes to production
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues •
Maintain and improve Linux-based systems •
Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and/or Nomad •
Automate operational and deployment processes •
Work with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) •
Collaborate with engineering and QA teams •
Take part in technical discussions and refinement sessions •
Help improve reliability, monitoring, and deployment processes
We expect:
At least 5 years of experience in a System Engineer, DevOps, or infrastructure-focused role
Solid knowledge of Linux systems
Hands-on experience with Docker
Experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and/or Nomad
Good understanding of networking concepts
Ability to write scripts or tools in at least one of the following: Bash, Python, or Go
Experience working with Git • Practical experience with Terraform
Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible
Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles •
Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset when working with development teams
Based in Poland
Fluent in Polish and comfortable communicating in English, both spoken and written
Willingness to travel a few times per year
Openness to meetings with international teams (Canada, US, China)
Nice to have:
Experience with Azure
Knowledge of OpenStack
Experience with virtualization platforms such as Proxmox, VMware, or KVM
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI/CD, Gitea, or Jenkins
Familiarity with Java-related technologies (Java, Maven, Groovy)
Knowledge of networking and access technologies such as Ethernet, DOCSIS, and LTE
Broader experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices and tools
