Job Description:
• Serve as a one-stop shop to support students through the utilization of their employer’s tuition assistance benefit
• Provide personalized end-to-end support to guide students toward success
• Partner with program advisors to ensure a smooth transition for employees into their chosen education program
• Assist employees in setting and achieving academic goals
• Help employees navigate academic challenges and connect them with appropriate resources
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback on performance
• Conduct regular check-ins and progress reviews to assess progress and celebrate achievements
• Develop and deliver workshops and resources on academic success, study skills, and time management.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in higher education advising, academic coaching, or related field
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
• Proven ability to provide effective guidance and support to individuals pursuing educational goals
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required
• Master’s degree from an accredited institution preferred
• Familiarity with common academic challenges and effective strategies to overcome them
• Knowledge of student support services and resources available at various educational institutions
• Data analysis and reporting skills to track student progress and measure coaching effectiveness.
