**Job Summary**
As a Student Customer Service Coordinator, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patrons, ensuring their safety and well-being, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for all. You'll work closely with our facilities team to ensure that our buildings and grounds are well-maintained and that our events are successful. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your customer service skills, work with a diverse group of people, and contribute to the arenaflex community.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Greet patrons and guests, ensuring their safety and well-being while maintaining a positive and approachable composure
* Assist customers with various questions and problems in customer service areas
* Perform basic cleaning responsibilities, including trash, equipment, and laundry
* Special event set-up and operations
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for all patrons by completing assigned shifts, duties, and enforcing facility policies
* Serve as a first responder to accidents within the building
* Find a substitute when unavailable and complete assigned duties
**Essential Qualifications**
* Current American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and Standard First Aid certifications or obtained within the first 30 days of employment
* BBP Certification obtained within the first 30 days of employment
* Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous customer service experience
* Experience working in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of arenaflex's facilities and operations
* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
**Skills and Competencies**
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to maintain a positive and approachable attitude in a fast-paced environment
* Basic knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures
