**Job Summary:**
As a Student Customer Service Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for patrons and guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience while ensuring their safety and well-being. You'll also serve as a first responder in case of accidents within the building, demonstrating your ability to remain calm and composed under pressure. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Greet patrons and guests, ensuring a positive and approachable atmosphere within our facilities
* Assist customers with various questions and problems in customer service areas, providing timely and effective solutions
* Perform basic cleaning responsibilities, including trash removal, equipment maintenance, and laundry duties
* Participate in special event set-up and operations, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for patrons
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for all patrons by completing assigned shifts, duties, and enforcing facility policies
* Serve as a first responder in case of accidents within the building, providing immediate assistance and support
**Essential Qualifications:**
* Current American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, and Standard First Aid certifications (or obtained within the first 30 days of employment)
* BBP Certification (obtained within the first 30 days of employment)
* Excellent customer service skills, with a strong commitment to providing a positive and welcoming experience for patrons
* Ability to work collaboratively with others, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt to new situations
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patrons, colleagues, and management
* Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with a strong commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of patrons
**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Previous experience in customer service or a related field, with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations
* Familiarity with arenaflex's facilities and services, with a strong commitment to promoting a positive and inclusive environment
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively in response to customer needs and concerns
