Position Overview
This role provides hands-on experience in both tax and audit, offering a well-rounded public accounting career path.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare tax returns (individual, corporate, partnership, nonprofit)
• Assist with audit and attest engagements
• Perform bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial analysis
• Communicate directly with clients and assist with ongoing advisory needs
• Stay current on tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or related field)
• 1–3+ years of experience in public accounting (preferred)
• CPA eligible or pursuing CPA (strongly preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
• Team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Work Schedule
• Monday–Friday standard schedule
• Additional hours during busy season (with paid overtime)
• Hybrid/remote flexibility available based on role and experience
