Job Description:
• Own and prioritize the product backlog for assigned software products and enhancements.
• Translate business goals, customer feedback, and market needs into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with engineering teams to drive sprint planning, release readiness, and successful delivery.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, user-friendly, and aligned with company strategy.
• Balance short-term customer needs with long-term platform scalability and product strategy.
• Gather feedback directly from orthodontists, dental practices, DSOs, and other professional customers to understand workflow and clinical requirements.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, and adjacent healthcare technology innovations.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Operations, Clinical, Customer Success, Marketing, and Finance teams.
• Coordinate with Quality/Regulatory teams where product changes impact medical device or healthcare compliance requirements.
• Define KPIs for product success including adoption, retention, efficiency gains, and revenue impact.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role within a software development organization.
• Experience working in the medical, dental, healthcare, or life sciences industry.
• Experience with SaaS platforms serving healthcare providers.
• Experience with regulated software environments (FDA, HIPAA, quality systems).
• Experience supporting B2B customers who are licensed professionals (physicians, dentists, orthodontists, etc.).
• Working knowledge of software development lifecycle processes, release planning, QA testing, defect triage, and production support.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.
• Master’s degree strongly preferred.
