Location: Dallas, TX - Hybrid **This is a hybrid role. Candidates must reside in Dallas-Fort Worth, TX, or within a reasonable commuting distance. While the position is primarily remote, you will be required to work on-site on an as-needed basis for team collaboration, meetings, or business-critical needs. **Salary: $80,000 - $115,000Position Summary:Are you passionate about Python and excited to use it to optimize system performance for custom software and hardware platforms? You'll collaborate with our Engineering and Product teams to develop and improve cutting-edge integrated software and hardware platforms, driving automation, productivity, and system stability.This is the perfect opportunity for those who thrive on growth, tackling challenges, and working with connected devices and robotics.What You'll Do:
- Work primarily in Python to support critical software systems for our custom software and hardware platforms.
- Enhance and debug Python applications
- Use Python, PostgreSQL, and other systems and processes to enhance productivity, preserve stability, ensure consistent APIs, and enhance system speed.
- Work in an Ubuntu/Linux desktop environment
- Work in a cross-functional distributed team environment
- BS in Computer Science or related field
- Relevant experience may substitute for and/or augment relevant degrees
- 3+ years of experience working with Python
- 2+ years of SQL experience with PostgreSQL experience ideal
- 1+ years of AWS Cloud or similar cloud experience required
- Exposure to warehouse automation is a plus
- Ability to document requirements and specifications
- Strong communication and excellent problem-solving skills
