PROJECT OVERVIEW We are seeking an experienced Software Developer to join our team working on medical device software for audiometry testing and hearing assessment. You will work with a product designed to streamline clinical workflows by guiding users through testing procedures, organizing patient sessions, and reducing manual data entry. Its configurable settings enable clinics to adapt the software to their preferred protocols and workflows while maintaining consistent testing standards. This healthcare software directly impacts patient care and clinical decision-making, requiring adherence to compliance standards and high-quality engineering practices in a regulated environment. The project consists of two major parts: Audiometry Software (Windows Desktop) Comprehensive audiometry solution for hearing threshold measurements, speech recognition testing, and hearing aid fitting verification Integrates with specialized audiometry hardware and patient management systems Technologies used: C#/.NET Framework 4.8, WPF Management System (Web & Cloud) Cloud-hosted Blazor web applications and ASP.NET Core API services used by administrative team for products management Azure-hosted infrastructure supporting multiple products Technologies used: C#/.NET 10, Azure IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL Design, develop, and maintain features for audiometry testing modules and web services Build WPF-based user interfaces (MVVM) and Blazor Server components Develop and enhance REST APIs Work closely with Product Owners to analyze requirements and provide technical solutions Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to ensure software-hardware alignment Write comprehensive unit tests with high coverage (≥80% for new code) and documentation Ensure product architecture and code quality meet high standards Perform code reviews focusing on safety, correctness, and compliance Solve complex, technically challenging problems within the products IF YOU ARE 5+ years of professional C#/.NET development experience Strong expertise with .NET Framework or .NET Core/.NET 5+ Experience with WPF and MVVM architecture Proficient knowledge of Software Development best practices, OOP, SOLID, design patterns Intermediate English NICE TO HAVE Experience with ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core, MudBlazor Experience with Azure Services (App Services, App Configuration, Application Insights) Database experience with Entity Framework Core Experience in developing HW-SW products Experience with RDLC reports What Makes This Role Unique Impact Directly affect patient care and clinical outcomes Contribute to software used by audiologists worldwide Help people with hearing loss receive accurate diagnoses and treatment Challenges Work across legacy desktop applications and modern cloud services Integrate specialized medical hardware with cloud APIs Solve complex technical problems in a safety-critical regulated domain Note: Due to the medical device nature of this software, candidates must be comfortable with strict adherence to development standards, comprehensive testing requirements, and regulatory compliance considerations.
