Architect, design and development of test tools, frameworks, automation and services to evaluate the machine learned user experience across all Apple hardware supporting Siri virtual assistant. Lead the qualification of Siri's perception software and machine learning models by developing evaluation tools, infrastructure and methodologies for current and future Apple hardware platforms, collaborating with world class cross functional teams across the company. These include design and development of automation frameworks and methodologies for simulation and evaluation of user experiences for machine learning-based products, evaluation of personalization, and scalability of the frameworks across locales and device types and configuration. Define and track user impact and user success metrics. Participate in Apple's Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning future products roadmap decisions, contribute insights and recommendations derived from the in-depth understanding of the current success metrics of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning products. 40 hours/week. At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $175,800 - $264,200/yr and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. - Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science or related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 1 year of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- Software development with Java, Python, Swift or Objective-C
- Working on large scale products and leveraging cross-functional partnerships
- Analyzing user behavior and designing test strategies, automation frameworks
- Designing algorithms and flowcharts to create new software systems for software development operations
- Developing technical documentation to guide future software development projects
- Scalable application services
- Architecting software for high fidelity and robust services
