We are an active live events and entertainment brand looking for a Social Media Specialist to take the wheel of our social platforms. We have a massive library of high-quality content (thousands of images, raw HD/4K footage, and edited clips) sitting in Google Drive, and we need a curator and strategist to turn these assets into a consistent, high-growth social presence.
Primary Responsibilities:
Platform Management: Fully manage our social presence with a focus on growth and engagement.
Scheduling & Approvals: Expert-level use of Publer to schedule posts and manage our approval workflow.
Content Curation: Navigate our Google Drive to identify the best "hidden gems" (stills and video) for upcoming posts.
Strategy & Comms: Work closely with us on our master communications calendar (event announcements, GA ticket on-sale dates, lineup reveals, etc.).
Engagement: Monitor comments and engage with our community to build hype.
Secondary (Bonus) Skills:
Light Video Editing: While we have a lead video producer, the ability to grab a raw clip, trim it for time, add text overlays, and format it for Reels/TikTok is a huge plus.
Creative Eye: Ability to suggest what content we are missing based on current trends.
Requirements:
Timezone: Must be able to work within or near PST (Seattle) business hours for quick turnarounds and syncs.
Experience: Proven track record in social media management, ideally in the live events, music, or entertainment space.
Tools: Understanding of Publer and Google Drive is a must.
Efficiency: You should be able to scale your hours up or down depending on our event cycle.
How to Apply:
Provide a brief summary of your experience with Publer and managing large asset libraries.
Share 2–3 links to social accounts you have managed (ideally in the events/entertainment space).
The "Easter Egg" Test: To prove you read this entire post, please tell us the best live event (concert, festival, show) you’ve ever attended in the first line of your cover letter.
