Why This Role Matters
As a Sleep Therapy Inbound Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for patients who rely on CPAP (Continuous Positive Airway Pressure) therapy to improve their sleep health. Your expertise will guide them through product selection, order fulfillment, and basic sleep coaching, ensuring they receive the right equipment, understand proper maintenance, and feel confident in managing their therapy at home. Key Responsibilities
- Patient Advocacy: Act as a trusted advocate, resolving questions and concerns promptly and empathetically.
- Data Accuracy: Collect and verify patient demographics, payer information, and physician details using the proprietary e‑Intake system.
- Order Management: Process new CPAP orders, ensuring correct product selection, compliance with utilization guidelines, and timely ticket fulfillment.
- Sleep Coaching: Provide basic sleep education, reinforce cleaning routines, and assist with mask fit issues to promote optimal therapy adherence.
- Technical Support: Offer first‑line technical assistance for CPAP equipment, troubleshooting common issues, and guiding patients through simple maintenance tasks.
- Outbound Outreach: Initiate follow‑up calls when needed to gather missing data, confirm order details, or provide additional education.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance regulations, FDA, and JCAHO guidelines relevant to DME/HME.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams—including clinical, billing, and logistics—to ensure seamless patient experiences.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring challenges, suggest process enhancements, and contribute to a culture of excellence.
- Flexibility: Perform additional duties as assigned, adapting to evolving business needs and seasonal volume spikes.
Qualifications – What We’re Looking For
Essential Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (additional education a plus).
- 1–3 years of experience in a customer‑focused, team‑oriented environment, preferably within healthcare or medical device settings.
- Demonstrated ability to handle high‑volume inbound calls while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
- Basic computer proficiency, including typing speed of at least 40 wpm, and comfort navigating internet resources.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record (when applicable for the position).
- Successful completion of a background investigation, drug screening (if required), and basic computer/internet skills test.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CPAP or other sleep therapy equipment, including mask fitting and routine maintenance.
- Familiarity with medical billing, reimbursement processes, and insurance verification.
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) or Home Medical Equipment (HME) regulations.
- Prior exposure to electronic health record (EHR) or intake platforms similar to e‑Intake.
- Certification or coursework in health administration, medical terminology, or related fields.

Compensation & Benefits
Base Pay: Starting at $15.50 per hour, with a structured monthly bonus program that offers the potential for unlimited earnings based on performance.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm. After successful completion of in‑office training and meeting performance expectations, you may transition to a fully remote work‑from‑home arrangement.
