About AI training and why it matters AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback work) is the human side of building AI: people prepare, review, and guide model behavior by annotating data, rating outputs, and creating gold-standard examples. These projects are often remote, flexible, and accessible to professionals who bring domain expertise such as SEO and digital marketing. The role You will evaluate AI-generated SEO and digital marketing outputs, create expert-level reference materials, and help improve model reasoning and practical applicability. The work focuses on intent match, keyword strategy, content structure, technical SEO logic, measurement and attribution, and compliance risk. This is a part-time contractor role requiring 20+ hours per week. Tasks are text-based and include RLHF, evaluation rating, and prompt/response writing (SFT). • Employment type: Contractor, Part-time • Time requirement: 20+ hours/week • Data type: Text; label types: RLHF, Evaluation Rating, Prompt Response Writing (SFT) • Pay: $30–$65 USD per hour What you'll do day-to-day Work will alternate between evaluation and authoring tasks: you will rate model outputs, identify gaps, and produce gold-standard content such as briefs and strategy notes to guide the model. You will also test outputs for inaccuracies, compliance pitfalls, and bias, and help refine prompts and evaluation rubrics to improve consistency and model performance. • Review AI-generated SEO/marketing responses for accuracy, clarity, brand fit, and prompt adherence • Identify issues in search intent alignment, keyword strategy, on-page SEO, technical SEO logic, and content structure • Fact-check claims and flag risky or unsupported marketing statements • Rate and compare model responses on effectiveness, reasoning quality, and practical applicability • Create expert-level briefs, analyses, optimizations, and strategy notes when requested • Test outputs for inaccuracies, compliance pitfalls, and bias; help refine prompts and gold standards Requirements You must bring deep, practical SEO and digital marketing experience and strong analytical judgment. Every required skill listed below comes from the role brief and is essential to perform evaluation and authoring tasks reliably. • 5+ years professional SEO and/or digital marketing experience (in-house, agency, or consultancy) • Strong command of SEO fundamentals: keyword research, intent mapping, information architecture, internal linking, content briefs, and SERP analysis • Working knowledge of technical SEO and site health: crawl/indexation, canonicalization, redirects, sitemaps, Core Web Vitals basics, and schema • Analytics experience with GA4, Search Console, dashboards, experiment design, and attribution caveats • Ability to evaluate writing and strategy for clarity, structure, persuasion, and brand voice • Minimum C1 English proficiency and strong attention to detail • Previous experience with AI data training, editorial QA, content ops, or performance marketing review is strongly preferred Who should apply Experienced SEO and digital marketing professionals who want to apply their domain expertise to guide and improve AI systems.
