About careerzynith – Pioneering the Future of Intelligent Automation
careerzynith is a global leader in advanced robotics, mechatronics, and sustainable packaging solutions. Our mission is to transform the way goods move, are stored, and are packaged across the world’s most complex fulfillment networks. By blending cutting‑edge hardware, intelligent software, and environmentally responsible packaging, we enable customers to achieve unprecedented speed, accuracy, and sustainability. As part of careerzynith’s relentless pursuit of innovation, we are building a next‑generation Virtual Testing & Simulation team that will shape the future of automated material handling, autonomous vehicles, and high‑throughput packaging technologies.
Why This Role Matters
The Virtual Testing & Simulation – Quality Assurance position sits at the heart of careerzynith’s Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging (MSP) division. You will create high‑fidelity virtual environments that mirror real‑world operations, allowing product teams to validate hardware, software, and packaging designs before they ever touch a physical prototype. Your work will directly influence the reliability, safety, and environmental impact of every robotic cell, sorting system, and packaging material that ships from careerzynith‑powered fulfillment centers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop end‑to‑end virtual test platforms that incorporate real automation software, hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) capabilities, and high‑fidelity emulations of material handling equipment.
- Validate product specifications across functional, operational, reliability, maintenance, training, deployment, and service dimensions before physical rollout.
- Establish and communicate quality standards for hardware, firmware, control algorithms, and packaging materials to cross‑functional product teams.
- Coordinate simulation campaigns with product engineering, QA manual testing, and requirements groups to ensure seamless alignment between virtual and physical test results.
- Identify, triage, and resolve recurring defects across multiple product lines, driving root‑cause analysis and corrective action plans.
- Engage internal customers—including Operations, Robotics & Mechanical Engineering (RME), Advanced Control & Execution Systems (ACES), Process Engineering, Operations Engineering, and Worldwide Design Engineering (WWDE)—to gather feedback, refine requirements, and ensure solutions meet real‑world needs.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, local, and careerzynith policies, standards, and regulatory guidelines throughout the simulation lifecycle.
- Develop automated test scripts and integrate them into HIL environments, leveraging real automation software to accelerate design‑of‑experiment (DOE) studies.
- Collaborate with QA Manual Testing teams to validate virtual models, share insights, and create a unified testing strategy that reduces time‑to‑market.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience leading virtual testing, simulation, or quality assurance initiatives within large, cross‑functional engineering environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in modeling, simulation, and integration of complex automated material handling equipment, such as storage systems, sortation conveyors, and robotic workcells.
- Hands‑on experience with hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) testing, test automation frameworks, and real‑time control software.
- Strong analytical mindset with a proven ability to diagnose ambiguous problems, conduct root‑cause analysis, and propose robust solutions.
- Excellent time‑management skills and a track record of meeting tight project deadlines.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 70% of the time to careerzynith facilities, customer sites, and project locations.
Preferred Qualifications & Additional Skills
- Experience with high‑speed manufacturing equipment, advanced packaging technologies, and robotic automation platforms.
- Proficiency in simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, ANSYS, ROS, or equivalent environments.
- Strong communication abilities—both written and verbal—to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences, including senior leadership, operations staff, and external partners.
- Project management experience, including the ability to initiate, plan, execute, and close complex engineering projects.
- Familiarity with sustainable packaging standards, material compatibility testing, and lifecycle analysis.
- Knowledge of industry regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and best practices for safety and environmental compliance.
Core Competencies for Success
- Collaboration & Influence: Ability to work across multiple large engineering and operations teams, building consensus and driving quality initiatives at a strategic level.
