About the Role Our client, a rapidly expanding leader in the medical device manufacturing sector, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Quality Assurance Technician to join their esteemed team in Boise, Idaho . This role is crucial in upholding the stringent quality standards essential for medical device production. The successful candidate will be instrumental in conducting inspections, performing tests, and ensuring that all manufactured products meet regulatory requirements and internal specifications. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues, contributing to the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes. Key Responsibilities Perform in-process and final product inspections and testing according to established procedures and specifications. Accurately document all inspection and testing results, maintaining detailed records in compliance with regulatory standards. Identify, isolate, and disposition non-conforming materials and products, initiating necessary corrective actions. Assist in the investigation of quality complaints and production deviations, contributing to root cause analysis. Support the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS). Calibrate and maintain laboratory and inspection equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability. Participate in internal and external audits as required. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and drive process improvements. Stay updated on relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements, such as FDA and ISO. Requirements Associate's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably medical devices. Strong understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO 13485 standards. Proficiency in using measurement tools, testing equipment, and inspection techniques. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Good written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and reporting. Experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a Boise, Idaho -based manufacturing setting.
