This critical role will spearhead the development of cutting-edge beauty and wellness products from concept to commercialization. You will be at the forefront of product innovation, leveraging market trends, scientific research, and consumer insights to create high-quality, market-leading formulations. Key Responsibilities: Leading the end-to-end product development process for beauty and wellness items, including skincare, haircare, cosmetics, and nutritional supplements. Formulating new products and reformulating existing ones to meet performance, cost, and regulatory requirements. Conducting research on raw materials, ingredients, and new technologies to drive innovation. Collaborating closely with R&D, marketing, regulatory affairs, and manufacturing teams to ensure successful product launches. Developing and executing product testing protocols, including stability, efficacy, and safety testing. Analyzing consumer feedback and market trends to identify product development opportunities. Managing project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient and timely completion of development cycles. Preparing technical documentation, specifications, and reports for internal and external stakeholders. Ensuring all product development activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards. Mentoring junior product developers and contributing to team growth. This fully remote position allows for flexible work arrangements across the US. The successful candidate will possess a strong scientific background and a passion for the beauty and wellness industry. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is required. You should have a minimum of 7 years of experience in product development within the beauty or wellness industry, with a proven track record of launching successful products. Experience with various formulation types and understanding of ingredient efficacy and safety are essential. Proficiency in laboratory techniques and analytical instrumentation is a must. Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
