Process and audit payroll for faculty and staff members in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as university policies and procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and security of all payroll-related information and records.
Collaborate with various departments to gather and verify employee information for payroll processing.
Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies.
Communicate effectively with employees regarding payroll inquiries and concerns.
Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations and update payroll processes accordingly.
Assist in the preparation of payroll-related reports and data for management and external agencies.
Serve as a resource for payroll-related inquiries and provide guidance to other team members.
Maintain organized and up-to-date payroll records and files.
Conduct pre-audit checks to ensure accuracy and compliance before finalizing payroll.
Identify and address any errors or issues in payroll processing.
Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills related to payroll.
Support the university's educational mission by providing accurate and timely payroll services to faculty and staff.
