Senior Graphic Designer
We’re looking for a senior-level Graphic Designer to bring the Shakepay brand to life across everything we do - from campaigns and social to motion and illustration. You’ll help define and evolve our visual language while creating bold, expressive work that connects with our community and reflects our values.
What you’ll be doing:
- Design across formats: Social, digital ads, landing pages, emails, merch, events, and more.
- Expand our visual world through original illustration - building on our playful brand universe while exploring new directions.
- Create motion content for campaigns, product explainers, and UI polish (After Effects or equivalent).
- Collaborate with marketing and product to concept and ship impactful creative that meets brand and business goals.
- Stretch the brand: Evolve our visual identity while maintaining clarity and consistency across all customer touchpoints.
- Build scalable systems: Develop design templates and frameworks to support internal teams.
- Design with insight: Evolve creative based on audience feedback and performance data - keeping the work sharp and effective.
Who we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio in illustration, animation, and brand creative.
- Skilled in Figma, Adobe CC, After Effects (or equivalent).
- Strong visual instincts (layout, color, typography) with a feel for what resonates online.
- Open-minded, collaborative, and great at receiving and giving thoughtful feedback.
- Self-directed, but energized by jamming with others and building something meaningful.
- Bonus: you care about bitcoin, Canadian culture, or building consumer fintech products.
