The Role
The Senior Director of Talent Acquisition is a strategic and results driven leader responsible for leading and evolving the global recruiting function. This role is responsible for shaping a forward-looking global talent acquisition strategy that enables business growth, scalability, and competitive advantage. As a key HR leader, this role will partner closely with executive leadership to anticipate workforce needs, align hiring strategies to business priorities, and ensure the organization attracts and hires top talent across all regions and functions. This role will also build and lead a high-performing team, driving operational excellence and delivering measurable hiring outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
The Sr. Director Talent Acquisition will have the following key responsibilities, which include but are not limited to:
Business Specific Responsibilities
Define and execute a global talent acquisition strategy aligned to business growth and workforce priorities
Partner with senior leaders and HR to develop forward-looking workforce plans tied to revenue forecasts, project demand, and capacity needs
Translate business objectives into scalable hiring strategies across functions and geographies
Build proactive, multi-channel talent pipelines aligned to current and future business needs
Provide insight into talent market conditions, role feasibility, and hiring risks
Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on talent strategy and workforce decisions
Lead end-to-end recruitment delivery across regions, ensuring consistent, high-quality execution
Oversee capacity planning, requisition prioritization, and resource allocation across TA teams
Establish and manage key performance indicators (e.g., time-to-fill, quality of hire, cost efficiency, pipeline health)
Drive operational excellence through standardized processes, tools, and workflows
Leverage data and analytics to improve decision-making, efficiency, and hiring outcomes
Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and hiring practices across all regions
Identify and mitigate hiring-related risks, including offer competitiveness, hiring delays, and workforce gaps impacting business delivery
Maintain strong governance over hiring workflows and decision frameworks
Translate performance data into actionable insights and recommendations for leadership
Strengthen employer brand and market positioning in support of critical talent needs
Ensure a consistent, high-quality candidate experience across all touchpoints
Support inclusive hiring practices aligned to talent strategy and business objectives

Lead, develop, and coach a global team of talent acquisition leaders and recruiters

Capabilities & Performance Outcomes
12+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, including global leadership responsibility within complex, fast-paced organizations
Experience leading within IT Healthcare Consulting or Staffing Agency preferred
Proven ability to lead and scale enterprise talent acquisition functions, driving measurable improvements in hiring outcomes, efficiency, and capability
Strong business acumen with demonstrated success aligning talent strategies to organizational priorities, financial goals, and workforce demand
Experience operating across multiple regions and labor markets, with a global perspective on talent dynamics and hiring practices
Strong executive communication and stakeholder influence skills, with the ability to translate data and market insights into business decisions
Must demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims.
Ability to manage complexity and competing priorities while maintaining focus on execution, quality, and timelines
Experience building sustainable talent pipelines for critical and leadership roles
Proficient with modern workplace and collaboration technologies
Consistently models organizational values and leadership expectations
