Responsibilities

We are seeking a Senior Datadog Software Engineer/Architect to join our diverse team supporting enterprise observability implementation and operations. This engineer is an experienced technical professional responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems. This role combines deep technical expertise with project leadership to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

The qualified individual will operate with significant autonomy, leading project teams and influencing technical decisions within their domain. They focus on executing complex projects, mentoring junior team members, and contributing to overall technical direction of their team or department. While they may not set organization-wide strategy like Principal Engineers, they play a crucial role in implementing and refining technical approaches within their area of expertise.

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
