Role Overview
The Senior Contract Specialist will provide expert-level support to the United States Marine Corps, serving as a subject matter expert on federal contracting regulations and acquisition strategy. This role is fully remote, but candidates must live within the Washington, DC Metro area.
What You Will Do
Develop acquisition strategies, draft Statements of Work, research and draft specifications, prepare Independent Government Cost Estimates, and assist with contract modifications and performance issues.

Requirements
- Expert-level knowledge of federal contracting laws, policies, regulations, and procedures
- US Marine, DOW or Navy acquisition experience required
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 10 years of operational experience in federal contracting
- Expertise in source selection procedures for complex acquisitions
- Highly proficient with e-commerce tools and automated acquisition systems including SAM.gov, PIEE, ePS, and AMS
- Certification required: DAWIA Level III, or FAC-C Level III
