Job Description:
• Perform month-end close tasks including preparation of general ledger entries and analysis as assigned
• Review period close submissions and assist in month/quarter end reporting package consolidation
• Perform detail reviews of regional and/or divisional balance sheets and bank reconciliations ensuring timely completion and documentation of issues identified and resolved
• Complete divisional balance sheet schedules and account reconciliations as assigned by management
• Reconcile General Ledger accounts and research to ensure accuracy
• Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company procedures / policies, including Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
• Maintain, control and reconcile accounts that are moderate to very complex in nature
• Assist divisional management team in completing corporate or executive management ad hoc requests
• Assist with special projects as assigned
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA preferred
• 5-7 years’ comparable work experience
• Strong accounting experience
• Quality problem solving and communication skills
• Oracle experience a plus
• Possess excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
