Senior Accountant, CPA Track Required

Job Description: • Assist with the period end close process and other routine accounting functions • Prepare account reconciliations, investigate variances or unexpected results • Prepare, and post journal entries • Work with others to find creative solutions to challenges and issues • Partner with accounting and finance teams including Treasury, Financial Planning and Analysis, Payroll, Tax and others • Process intercompany transactions and perform audit controls with internal and external audit • Own and continuously improve departmental procedures and documentation • Lead meetings with internal teams to develop understanding and agreement of account balances • Ensure that accruals are recorded, and balances are maintained within GAAP guidelines • Update the general ledger system adding, changing, or deleting accounts, cost centers or locations • Provide training and guidance to new General Accounting staff members • Participate in special projects, as directed by the Accounting Manager Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related degree • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in public or private accounting or finance • CPA designation or CPA track preferred • Public accounting / audit experience preferred but not necessary • 1+ year of experience reviewing work (e.g., reconciliations, journal entries, or close deliverables) preferred • Experience and advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, Power Query, and Copilot preferred but not required • Experience with general ledger and financial reporting systems • Experience specifically with NetSuite preferred but not required • Advanced understanding of US GAAP • Experience with multiple entity / subsidiary organizations and intercompany transactions preferred Benefits: • 401k savings & company match • Paid time off • Paid holidays • Maternity leave • Parental leave • Military leave • Other leaves of absence • Health, dental, and vision benefits • Health savings accounts • Flexible spending accounts • Life & disability benefits • Identity theft protection • Pet insurance Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
