Senior Account Executive, Digital

Job Description: • Lead day-to-day management and implementation of client digital direct marketing fundraising programs • Create and review strategies and annual plans with clients • Develop online fundraising/advocacy/promotion plans with specific benchmarks and deliverables, including email newsletters and solicitations, fundraising appeals, social media, advocacy and advertising campaigns, website promotion and more • Develop and nurture relationships with client, including frequent communication of progress via phone, email, written progress reports and on-site meetings • Coordinate creative services, including writing/editing online fundraising copy, promotional copy and email newsletters and solicitations, and supervising production of design work • Develop up-sell/cross-sell strategies • Understand and present internal and industry benchmarking reports to clients • Work with staff to manage various aspects of client work • Demonstrate working knowledge of each area of agency’s resources • Develop agency’s public presence by attending events, publishing white papers, speaking at workshops and getting to know leadership vendors and industry organizations • Keep up to date on online fundraising and advocacy technology, nonprofit development, and commercial technology and techniques that can be applied to nonprofit development • Participate in new business proposals and presentations • Use and manage team within workflow tool to manage projects and communicate with the team Requirements: • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in one of the following areas of work: Advocacy, fundraising, digital project management, online marketing, direct response • Demonstrated experience in managing a multi-faceted fundraising, advocacy, social media, or direct response program • Experience with nonprofit fundraising and/or advocacy • Technology-oriented, with the ability and desire to understand how online fundraising, marketing, and advocacy technology works • Experience with Luminate, Every Action, Classy, Salsa, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Engaging Networks or similar • Basic HTML and other web tools experience • Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Benefits: • Health (multiple carrier options) • Dental • Life Insurance • Short and Long-Term Disability • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) • employer-matching FSA dollars • 35% employer share of cost for dependent health insurance • Vision, Medical & Dependent Care FSA • Commuter benefits • Pet Care Plan • 401(k) with automatic employer-sponsored contributions equal to 3% • Equalized profit sharing • Paid Time Off, including: 13 company holidays • Early release every Friday and on days preceding company holidays • Vacation time – starting at 15 days per year (increases over tenure) • Sick Leave – 1 day per month • Personal time – 3 days per year • Paid Parental Leave – 8 weeks • Volunteer Leave – 3 days per year • Philanthropic Fund with corporate match for employee charitable contributions • Access to industry conferences & professional development opportunities • Remote-first work environment with access to offices for local staff (Berkeley | DC)
