School-Based Virginia Virtual Speech-Language Pathologist

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Overview: We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a fully remote role for a school district in Virginia! As a Virtual SLP, you will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students of all ages dealing with speech, language and communication disorders. Key Responsibilities: • Perform thorough evaluations to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals across the lifespan. • Administer standardized assessments, observe clients, and gather information from families and caregivers to assess the nature and severity of disorders. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. • Provide therapy through virtual platforms, ensuring a high level of engagement and support. Qualifications: • Active Virginia SLP-CCC license through the Virginia Department of Health Professions. • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in school-based settings. • Previous experience with virtual assessments and IEP meetings is preferred. • Professional liability insurance. • Comfort and proficiency with technology, with the ability to pass a tech screening for remote work. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, families, and team members.
