Salesforce Software Developer

Description: • Partner with the Salesforce Product Manager to align the GovCloud platform with business objectives and scalable architecture. • Design and customize Salesforce solutions on Salesforce Government Cloud Plus. • Support CRM Analytics (CRMA) by creating dashboards and data recipes. • Collaborate with developers to implement custom solutions that remain scalable and maintainable. • Develop and maintain technical documentation for architecture, configurations, and customizations. • Automate business processes using Salesforce tools such as LWC, Flow, formulas, validation rules, and approval processes. • Build integrations between Salesforce and external applications using REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth, and SSO. • Partner with internal integration teams when Salesforce exchanges data with other internal platforms such as ERP systems. • Migrate changes from development and testing into production and perform smoke testing. • Provide end-user support and help promote self-sufficiency and user adoption. • Maintain code quality by following coding standards and producing well-structured, maintainable code. • Perform data updates and migrations using Data Loader and support backup and recovery tools. • Stay current on Salesforce releases, platform enhancements, industry trends, and best practices. Requirements: • 5-7 years of total IT experience, including at least 4+ years of Salesforce platform development experience. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience. • Strong Salesforce customization and configuration experience, preferably in Sales Cloud; Government Cloud experience is preferred. • Hands-on experience with Apex, triggers, scheduled and batch classes, formulas, Flow, approval processes, validation rules, and assignment rules. • Experience with UI technologies such as Bootstrap, Lightning Design System, Lightning components, jQuery, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS. • Strong foundation in object-oriented programming principles. • Experience with CI/CD and version control systems, including GitHub. • Experience with FFLIB (Apex Common Framework). • Strong debugging and performance optimization skills in Salesforce environments. • Integration experience using REST, SOAP APIs, OAuth, and SSO. • Experience creating standard and custom objects and object relationships. • Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and DevOps tools such as JIRA, Salesforce DX, Salesforce CLI, and GitHub Actions. • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and upstream/downstream systems and processes. • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills with attention to detail. • Salesforce developer certifications, especially Platform Developer I and II, are strongly preferred. • Experience or familiarity with Agentforce is a plus. • Service Cloud experience is a major plus. • Aerospace and defense industry experience is a major plus. • AWS experience is a major plus. • Experience with Communities/Experience Cloud and CRM Analytics (formerly Tableau CRM / Einstein Analytics) is a bonus.
