Job Title: Salesforce Administrator

Summary of Position: The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for the overall administration of National & Global’s Salesforce instance and related integrations. The role’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to, system configuration and automation, identity and access management, ongoing testing and maintenance, new feature, and application implementation, iSupport tickets, case, and release management.
Duties and Responsibilities

Holds to a strong culture of accountability that ensures optimal performance for the Salesforce systems
Technology Leadership
Works with Salesforce teams to establish processes to support administrative, development, and change management activities related to Salesforce and (e.g., Marketing Cloud, Admission and Recruitment, and Student Success Hub), and associated tools (e.g., Mogli, Five9, etc.)
Works with other Salesforce personnel to define and document development requirements for new solutions or enhancements to existing functionality and procedures
Salesforce Administration:
Performs administrative functions such as user management, profiles, roles, permissions, rules, assignment rules, queues, licenses, capacity, storage management, and other routine tasks
Builds prototypes and builds objects, fields, validation rules, page layouts, calculated fields, and workflows based on user requirements to support new projects or enhance existing functionality and procedures
Manages and works within the Form Assembly platform to build and develop forms, etc. as needs are assessed for N&G units in collaboration and communication with the enrollment technology team and units
Product Development Lifecycle
Supports product development lifecycles updates within the enrollment technology stack
Data & Reporting
Collaborates with assigned Salesforce team members to confirm accurate key performance indicators and metrics for the enrollment and partnership efforts
Support the enrollment technology team as needed for audits and reporting variables that align with enhancements, changes, and initiatives within Salesforce
Helps maintain data integration efforts with University Information Technology and Marketing
Other responsibilities as assigned

Education
Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Project Management, Information Systems, or Business Administration requires an appropriate combination of education and relevant work experience.
Experience
Minimum of four (4) years in Salesforce.org or similar CRM software
Salesforce Administrator Certification required, with additional certifications a plus
Capable of balancing attention to detail with overall project scope to drive results
Demonstrate the ability to be forward-thinking and innovative while understanding the needs and capabilities of IWU business processes and technologies
Demonstrated experience performing system testing and developing/maintaining test scripts
Knowledge of training theory and practices demonstrated by an ability to develop and deliver technical training and user documentation
Higher education experience preferred, but not required
Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures
Higher education experience preferred, but not required
Required Skills
Experience in applying Salesforce best practices through all phases: initial design architecture, system maintenance, security, data integrity, Strong proficiency in Salesforce custom objects, flows, formula fields, workflows, and custom views
Experience with Form Assembly
Experience writing technical and end-user documentation
Proven working experience in providing help desk support
Confident in making decisions, accurate, detailed-oriented, and able to problem solve/analyze
Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills and can effectively interact with IWU stakeholders to resolve business issues in a timely manner
Exceptional communication and people skills; demonstrated ability to assemble and present information clearly and concisely.
Must be highly organized, flexible, and able to meet deadlines as prescribed
