Revenue and Financial Reporting Manager - Top PE Firm

We are seeking a Revenue and Financial Reporting Manager to join a premier global alternative investment platform. This is a highly visible leadership role within the Corporate Finance organization supporting Capital Markets businesses. This position sits at the center of revenue recognition, receivables oversight, expense allocations, and financial reporting for a complex, multi-strategy investment platform. You will lead day-to-day revenue operations, manage and develop a team, and partner directly with senior finance leadership and business stakeholders to ensure accuracy, transparency, and operational excellence. This is an outstanding opportunity for a technically strong accounting professional coming from public accounting and/or a asset management or investment advisor environment who wants exposure to senior leadership, complex investment structures, and a platform known for developing high-performing finance talent. Note to auditors: No financial services experience required (must have strong ASC 606 alternatively). This is a great opportunity for commercial auditors to make the jump into the investments space! Team/Position Highlights • Highly visible seat within the Corporate Finance organization with regular interaction with senior finance leadership, business unit finance teams, FP&A, tax, compliance, and legal • Broad exposure to complex investment strategies including credit, structured capital, and special situations • Opportunity to build and enhance scalable revenue and allocation processes within a growing and evolving global platform • Strong culture of collaboration, accountability, and internal mobility with a proven track record of development and promotion Day-to-day • Oversee accurate and timely revenue recognition across multiple investment strategies in accordance with applicable accounting standards and firm policies • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes related to revenue and associated balance sheet accounts • Manage receivables reconciliations, cash application processes, and collections oversight to enhance visibility and strengthen controls • Oversee complex expense allocation and reimbursable processes across deal, fund, and portfolio company activity • Review and enhance internal financial reporting provided to senior management, including support for annual audited financial statements and covenant reporting • Contribute to process redesign, documentation standards, system enhancements, and automation initiatives to strengthen infrastructure and scalability Qualifications • CPA and/or Master’s degree preferred • Accounting experience within public accounting, asset management, or investment advisory environments • Experience managing direct reports Origin Staffing is a specialized recruiting firm delivering high-impact direct-hire solutions across Accounting, Finance, Audit, Tax, Advisory, and Business Transformation.
