About the position
White House of Music is seeking personable sales and customer service individuals to assist customers with their musical needs. The ideal candidate will be engaging, customer-focused, and a team player who can act as a music advocate. This is a retail position with retail hours, offering a culture of collaboration, individual growth, and a commitment to fulfilling customer needs. The position is a flex position that could be part-time or full-time, covering Waukesha, West Bend, and Brookfield locations.
Responsibilities
• Provides excellent customer service.
• Assists customers in renting instruments.
• Helps customers purchase the right products through Need Fulfillment Selling.
• Learns about products in all areas of the store to provide better customer service and work in all areas as needed.
• Unpacks, displays, and maintains the condition of store merchandise.
• Cleans and maintains the sales floor and stock areas, including dusting fixtures and sweeping the floor.
• Polishes, cleans, and tunes instruments.
Requirements
• Some knowledge of music must be documented in your submission to be considered.
• Must be available to work evenings and Saturdays.
• Must include both a resume and cover letter to be considered.
Nice-to-haves
• Sales experience preferred but not required.
• Background in band or orchestra instruments is preferred.
