Perform independent professional respiratory care diagnostic and therapeutic
procedures in an appropriate, safe and cost-effective manner. Support medical
staff and other hospital staff in providing quality patient care.
Work Schedule: Casual; 8/12 hour night shifts
Required Qualifications:
• Graduate of a Respiratory Care program
• Credentialed by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) as a: Certified
Respiratory Therapist (CRT), or a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
• Licensed as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of MN
• Current BLS – American Heart Association or BLS – American Red Cross (CPR/AED
for Professional Rescuer & Health Care Provider)
• ACLS certification required within 6 months of start date.
• If working inpatient, NRP certification is required within 6 months of start
date.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner license with the Wisconsin
Department of Safety and Professional Services (specific only to employees
working in Wisconsin)
• Minimum of one-year acute care experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• NICU experience
