Residential Loan Officer - Remote - Greater Detroit Area About The Company • Member focused financial institution dedicated to delivering exceptional service and helping individuals achieve financial wellness • Recognized for workplace excellence, employee satisfaction, and a strong commitment to community involvement and career growth About The Opportunity • Remote role with a strong local presence in the Greater Detroit area • Blend of hourly base pay and performance driven incentives • On target earnings around $80,000 with upside based on production • Opportunity to work with warm, internally generated leads rather than cold sourcing • Supportive, team oriented environment with career growth and licensing support What You Will Do • Respond quickly to internal referrals and warm member inquiries • Follow up with mortgage leads within 24 hours with a firm offer when applicable • Conduct outbound calls to maximize internally generated opportunities • Consult members on home financing options, risks, and tailored solutions • Complete mortgage and home equity applications online and over the phone • Drive loan production and consistently meet monthly sales goals • Deliver a high level of service throughout the entire lending process What You Bring • Minimum 1 year of residential mortgage lending experience • Minimum 1 year of home equity lending experience in a sales environment • Ability to obtain NMLS registration with company support • Strong understanding of mortgage products and lending practices • Comfortable working in a performance driven, goal oriented environment • Excellent communication, organization, and follow up skills • Ability to handle complex or sensitive client conversations with professionalism • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general systems Nice to Have • Experience with Encompass • Background in originating equity loans or lines of credit • Experience gathering deposits or cross selling financial products • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals Compensation And Benefits • $20.19 per hour base pay • Incentive program based on 15 to 40 basis points • On target earnings around $80,000 • Full benefits package • Career development and licensing support Additional Details • Remote position with occasional in-person attendance for community and first-time homebuyer events • Must reside in the Greater Detroit area • Collaborative virtual team environment with strong internal lead flow , Apply tot his job Apply To this Job
