NEXA Lending LLC is a full-service mortgage broker. We are licensed in 48 states, as well as Washington DC. The states we are not yet licensed in are New York and Massachusetts - We can DSCR and business only in those two... they have been re-submitted.
Position: Licensed Residential Loan Officer, and/or a Commercial & Business Lending Advisor. We also have AXEN Realty and are currently looking to add agents there as well. We have access to 100% if they are both LO and Agent.
Job Summary
We are seeking dynamic and results-driven individuals responsible for originating, or referring applications for residential mortgages, commercial real estate, and small to mid-sized businesses as well as large project financing, no limit. On the realtor side we are looking for licensed agents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lending and real estate practices, underwriting criteria, and customer service, with the ability to manage a diverse portfolio of clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Evaluate and process loan applications for residential, commercial and business clients.
• Analyze creditworthiness, income documentation, collateral, and risk profiles.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with borrowers, real estate agents, brokers and other referral sources.
• Guide clients through the loan process, ensuring a clear understanding of loan terms, products and responsibilities.
• Work with processors selected by you from our partner processors.
• Stay up to date with market trends, lending regulations and compliance requirements.
• Manage and maintain a pipeline of active loans from application to closing.
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling financial products and services.
• Participate in community outreach and networking events to expand client base and increase brand visibility.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or related field, preferred not required.
• Minimum [2–5] years of experience in residential, commercial and/or business lending.
• Strong knowledge of lending practices, financial analysis, and loan documentation.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and sales skills.
• Proficient in loan origination software and CRM systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• NMLS license (or ability to obtain, if required). Or commercial, investment and business financing only.
• With no NMLS would have to work part-time in a team environment.
