Return on Creators is a creator-brand commerce platform built on TikTok Shop, seeking a VP of Accounts to lead their account management function. The role involves managing relationships with clients, supervising account managers, and ensuring client retention and growth through strategic oversight and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Own the health of the client portfolio end to end — retention, expansion, and escalation
- Supervise and develop the account management team: pipeline reviews, performance standards, coaching, and accountability
- Serve as the senior relationship owner for key brand accounts, joining strategic conversations and QBRs
- Translate client goals into campaign strategy AMs can execute — creator selection, sample flows, content briefs, GMV targets
- Build and refine the AM operating playbook: SLAs, communication cadences, reporting standards
- Partner with leadership on hiring, capacity planning, and how the accounts org scales
- Be the internal voice of the client — surface what brands need before it becomes a problem
Skills
- Deep, hands-on TikTok Shop experience — non-negotiable
- 5+ years in account management, client success, or agency-side growth roles, with 2+ years managing people
- Track record of retaining and growing brand accounts — you can point to books of business you've owned and expanded
- Comfortable operating at both altitudes: strategic client conversations in the morning, unblocking an AM's campaign issue in the afternoon
- Direct communicator who moves fast, holds a high bar, and doesn't need hand-holding
