Super Hire is partnering with its client to recruit an accomplished Vice President of Operations to lead operational strategy, optimize business performance, and drive organizational excellence across multiple functions. This executive leadership role is responsible for overseeing operational planning, process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and execution of strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute operational strategies that align with the organization's long-term business objectives
- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and operational excellence
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve business processes, productivity, and organizational performance
- Establish operational KPIs and monitor performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Manage operational budgets, resource allocation, and financial performance in partnership with executive leadership
- Oversee vendor relationships, service delivery, procurement, and operational partnerships where applicable
- Collaborate with department leaders to streamline workflows and enhance organizational effectiveness
- Lead operational planning for business expansion, system implementations, and process transformation initiatives
- Build, mentor, and develop high-performing operational leadership teams
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and operational best practices
- Present operational performance updates, strategic recommendations, and business insights to executive leadership
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in operations management, business operations, or executive operational leadership
- Demonstrated experience leading operational strategy, business process improvement, and organizational transformation
- Experience managing cross-functional teams, operational programs, and enterprise-wide initiatives
- Strong understanding of budgeting, resource planning, vendor management, and operational performance metrics
- Proven ability to optimize business processes and improve organizational efficiency
- Excellent leadership, communication, project management, and decision-making skills
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data and drive strategic improvements
- Experience with ERP systems, project management platforms, business intelligence tools, or operational reporting systems is preferred
- MBA or advanced degree is a plus
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Leadership experience overseeing multi-site operations, shared services, supply chain, customer operations, or service delivery
- Experience managing organizational change, digital transformation, or operational scaling initiatives
- Demonstrated success improving operational efficiency, service quality, cost optimization, or business performance through measurable outcomes
- Experience managing enterprise budgets, vendor partnerships, and large operational teams
- Background in technology, healthcare, manufacturing, logistics, professional services, financial services, or other complex operational environments
