High-paying, remote therapist role, 75% split, full admin support, focus entirely on clinical work. Must currently hold an active Michigan license and have a full caseload of video therapy clients — applications without these will not be considered.
Crescent Roots Psychological Services is looking to hire a contractual remote therapist, who currently has a Michigan limited license (TLLP, LLPC, LLMSW) or full license (LLP, LPC, LMSW, LCSW). We are currently looking for therapists who already have a caseload of at least 10 clients for video therapy, preferably at least 15 (with mostly BCBS, Aetna, Priority, United, or self-pay clients in Michigan), and are looking to immediately make a much larger income.
The top priorities for Crescent Roots have always been informed by two main goals: we take care of our clients, and we take care of our therapists. We offer a significantly competitive pay, at 70% for limited license, and 75% for full license. This is not based on how many clients you see. In other words, you earn 70 - 75%, whether you have 10 clients or 25. We also cover most of the related costs of remote practice, such as the note & billing software (EHR), clearinghouse, and video software, and we do all of your billing and insurance claims for you. This helps you focus on doing what you like doing, clinical work with clients! Thus far, we have a high retention rate of our therapists, over the course of our 6 years open, and we believe this is because our staff are well paid and thus not overwhelmed, along with our support.
Due to the specificity of this current job offer (for therapists who already have a full caseload), this requires anyone applying to be working for a company/practice who has not forced a non-compete clause in their contract with you, and are agreeable with you taking your clients with you to our practice. Yes, these practices do exist, and we are one of them, and will never ask you to sign a contract that keeps your clients with us if you decide to leave.
With each person hired, we put more into marketing, and are thus always working hard to keep each therapist full. By full caseload, that means any amount of clientele you are comfortable with (can be as low as 10 clients, or as high as you would like). As a growing practice, and a practice that likes to hear from our therapists, we are always open to ideas about the growth and direction of the practice, as we want to have everyone feel like they are a part of a team.
We are a generalist practice that loves to provide an eclectic array of services to our clients through a diverse set of clinicians. However, what we look for in a therapist, above all else, is that they are kind, considerate, empathic, and warm. We then also hope for each therapist to be knowledgeable and effective in the theories of their choice, and the populations and niches they hold close to their heart. Having an education and appreciation for social & multicultural sensitivities is a must.
