Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. American Unit, Inc is seeking a System Analyst with expertise in Healthcare Payer Systems and interoperability. The role involves bridging business and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions while supporting healthcare interoperability initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Gather and translate business and regulatory requirements into technical solutions
- Assess current-state applications, integrations, and data flows for CMS-0057 interoperability compliance
- Identify compliance gaps and recommend remediation strategies
- Design and document APIs, integrations, FHIR resources, and data mappings
- Support CMS interoperability programs including PAS, CRD, DTR, Member Access, and Payer-to-Payer
- Collaborate with developers using C#, .NET, Azure, and REST APIs
- Work within Agile teams using Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Coordinate with business, technical, and compliance stakeholders throughout the SDLC
Skills
- 5+ years of overall IT experience
- 3+ years of Healthcare Payer Systems or Healthcare Interoperability experience
- Strong knowledge of HL7 FHIR (R4)
- Experience with Healthcare Interoperability
- C# and .NET
- REST API design and integration
- Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, API Management)
- Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Git Version Control
- Healthcare payer domain knowledge (Claims, Prior Authorization)
- Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
- API Documentation & Data Mapping
- Agile/Scrum methodology
- CMS Interoperability Mandates (CMS-0057)
