Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is seeking a highly skilled Sr UX/UI Visual Designer to join a collaborative, fast-paced enterprise environment. This role involves creating intuitive, scalable, and visually compelling digital experiences while working alongside cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities
- Design engaging application interfaces with a strong focus on user workflows, interactions, integrations, and data visualization
- Create visually polished, accessible, and responsive experiences across web-based applications
- Partner closely with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to transform concepts into seamless user experiences
- Advocate for the end user while balancing business objectives and technical requirements
- Contribute to and expand enterprise design systems to ensure consistency and scalability
- Participate in design reviews and walkthroughs to maintain quality standards across projects
- Build strong relationships across multiple business units and stakeholder groups
- Drive work independently, prioritize effectively, and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging UX methodologies, and design technologies
Skills
- 8+ years of UX/UI design experience with a strong focus on visual and interaction design
- Demonstrated success designing for large-scale enterprise environments
- Strong portfolio showcasing: Complex digital product implementations, Enterprise application design, Visual design excellence, User-centered problem solving, Data visualization projects
- Deep understanding of: Responsive design, Accessibility and inclusive design practices, Interaction design, Information architecture
- Expert-level visual design skills with strong command of: Typography, Layout and composition, Color theory, Design systems
- Experience with prototyping and design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar
- Knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in an Agile environment
- Detail-oriented, highly collaborative, and comfortable working autonomously
- Bachelor's degree in Human Factors, UX Design, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience working within financial services, fintech, or highly regulated industries
- Familiarity with CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap or Foundation
- Knowledge of UX research methodologies and user-centered design best practices
