Shutterfly is looking for a strategic Sr. Sourcing Specialist II, Marketing Tech and Mobile Software who will drive high-impact strategies enterprise-wide for stakeholders in Marketing and Product. The role involves leading contract negotiations, designing data-driven sourcing strategies, and managing supplier relationships to deliver measurable enterprise value.
Responsibilities
- Own category strategy and contract negotiations across several categories of spend: Software and SaaS for Marketing Tech and Product
- Design data-driven sourcing strategies that effectively address stakeholder objectives while balancing cost, speed, quality, and innovation
- Lead supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract management (end to end) to ensure best-in-class procurement practices
- Negotiate complex, global agreements focused on total value, negotiated savings (budgetary and avoidance), and market-reasonable terms
- Use analytics and automation to enhance visibility and decision speed
- Prepare RFQs, RFPs, bid documents, analyze and evaluate proposals, and administer the evaluation process
- Serve as trusted commercial advisor to senior leaders across Technology, Product, and Marketing (MarTech)
- Align sourcing strategies to enterprise goals for growth and margin
- Troubleshoot and resolve process issues impacting internal stakeholders
- Define and implement process improvements that increase employee experiences, reduce cycle time and deliver efficiency gains and outsized impact, while ensuring compliance with policies and mitigating supplier risk
- Manage and optimize strategic supplier relationships to drive innovation and accountability
- Stay abreast of category developments and provide thought leadership from a procurement/sourcing perspective with business partners to develop new and creative strategies

Skills
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 6+ years of progressive strategic sourcing or commercial leadership experience leading Software and SaaS for Marketing Tech and Product spend categories
- Strong negotiation experience (Master Agreements, Statements of Work, Change Orders, etc.) and demonstrated ability to work with suppliers
- Success in large-scale enterprise initiatives and demonstrated expertise in strategic sourcing at a global scale and within a fast paced, and dynamic organization is required
- Outstanding ability to collaborate with business partners and teams in defining and implementing category strategies at scale
- Strong financial acumen and complex negotiation experience
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder influencing skills
