The role focuses on delivering specially designed instruction, maintaining compliance, and collaborating with school teams to help students achieve their educational goals in a virtual learning environment. Responsibilities • Deliver virtual special education instruction aligned with student IEP goals • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families • Collect and analyze student progress data to guide instructional decisions • Participate in virtual IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions • Support accommodations, modifications, and individualized learning plans Requirements • Master’s degree in Special Education or related field • Active Arkansas Special Education teaching license • School-based special education experience preferred • Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance requirements • Experience providing virtual or remote instruction preferred • Teaching certification may be required depending on district.
