They are seeking a strategic and entrepreneurial Social Media Manager to lead client relationships and drive collaboration in executing high-impact social media strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily social concept development across brand social channels
- Oversee daily social publishing and editorial calendars to ensure seamless program execution across platforms
- Stay ahead of macro content trends and platform updates to inform publishing, community engagement, and tactical execution
- Actively monitor the social landscape to surface insights and deliver forward-thinking recommendations
- Spot and react to cultural trends across sports, fashion, entertainment, and music in real time
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to develop assets
- Understand and engage diverse audiences by tapping into generational behaviors and cultural nuances
- Track and analyze performance to continuously refine and elevate creative output
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Support additional projects and cross-functional initiatives as needed
Skills
- 5-7 years of social media management experience
- Experience at a creative agency(s), with a focus on content development and production within always-on social environments
- Background in sports, fashion, gaming, or other culture-forward categories required
- Passionate about community engagement
- Knowledge of and genuine interest in emerging technology
- Detail oriented, with ability to manage scheduling and proofreading social media posts across multiple platforms
- Must possess skill for creative, platform-specific copywriting
- Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as people skills
- Strong grasp on the social and digital ecosystem and how brands should participate in an authentic way
- Passionate for building communities with an authentic lens
- Preference for experience in social CS or community management for a brand
