Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Growth Sync is a company at the intersection of commerce, culture, and AI, aiming to enhance social commerce intelligence for brands. They are seeking a Social & Content Marketing Specialist to manage their content calendar and execute marketing strategies that resonate with their audience and enhance brand storytelling.
Responsibilities
- Own Growth Sync's content calendar across X / Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube / Shorts where relevant, and event-specific channels
- Build the strategic content narrative: what Growth Sync should be known for, which pillars we repeat, and how each platform reinforces the market story
- Make sure scheduled posts actually go out, or are intentionally rescheduled / killed with a reason
- Own the deliverables tracker: what needs to be shot, clipped, designed, written, approved, posted, repurposed, or followed up on
- Turn product updates, demos, founder conversations, customer insights, and market moments into posts, clips, recaps, launch moments, and follow-up assets
- Develop campaign ideas that tell Growth Sync's story in nontraditional ways: brand authenticity at scale, one-to-one conversations, knowing your audience, and turning social attention into customer memory
- Coordinate freelancers, shooters, editors, designers, creators, and internal teammates to get assets made and published
- Build release plans for hero videos and campaigns: launch date, clip calendar, posting schedule, platform sequence, event tie-ins, and follow-up content
- Help plan Growth Sync marketing activations around ComplexCon, Social Commerce Festival, LA Tech Week, Beverly Hills / LA brand rooms, creator-commerce events, and private dinners
- Propose culturally specific ideas such as product walkthroughs, accelerator / program collaborations, sponsored dinners, brand voice activations, CPG sponsor tie-ins, and event-specific social campaigns
- Keep content tied to the business: qualified conversations, demos, onboarded brands, partner intros, proof assets, and brand relationships
Skills
- Understand social commerce, TikTok Shop, creator-led brands, affiliates, DTC, streetwear, beauty, wellness, fashion, or culture-led ecommerce
- Know how tech companies post online and can translate that energy into Growth Sync's world without sounding like generic SaaS
- Can think strategically about what Growth Sync should be known for in the market, then translate that into content pillars, campaign sequences, and daily posts
- Can turn complicated AI / commerce concepts into simple, sharp, culturally natural content ideas
- Can own a content calendar and make sure deliverables actually get done
- Can direct what needs to be shot and posted without needing to personally create every asset
- Can write in a specific, operator-led, sharp, and relatable voice
- Know how to turn messy conversations into clean content, follow-up, and next actions
- Have taste for events and activations, but care about pipeline more than vibes
- Can coordinate creators, brands, agencies, event vendors, content capture, freelancers, and internal teams without losing the plot
- Can think in campaign sequences: hero video, clips, social posts, founder commentary, event content, recaps, and follow-up
- Are comfortable using AI / automation tools to research, draft, organize, script, calendar, and package work faster
- Relationships with creators, creator-led brands, agencies, photographers, videographers, editors, or LA culture / commerce circles
- Experience around TikTok Shop, DTC brands, creator commerce, influencer marketing, field marketing, startup marketing, or tech-company social
- Comfort attending events, helping capture content, and turning rooms into posts, clips, recaps, and follow-up
- Strong instincts for who Growth Sync should collaborate with and what would make the company feel culturally relevant without becoming corny
Benefits
- Healthcare benefits
- Meaningful founding team equity
