Spencer Thomas is seeking a Senior Workforce Software / Workforce Suite Consultant to manage implementation and enhancement projects across various workforce management modules. The role involves gathering requirements, configuring systems, and supporting clients in adopting the solutions effectively.
Responsibilities
- Configure Workforce Software / WorkForce Suite modules including Time, Absence, Scheduling, Integrations, and related functionality
- Lead and participate in business requirements gathering sessions, client workshops, and solution refinement discussions
- Translate client business requirements into system configuration, logic, workflows, and technical specifications
- Create and maintain business requirements documentation, use cases, process flows, configuration documentation, and testing materials
- Analyze existing systems, interface requirements, business processes, and operational workflows
- Recommend and implement Workforce Software solutions that improve business processes and support client objectives
- Understand project scope, implementation approach, timelines, and deliverables
- Identify, communicate, and escalate out-of-scope requirements, risks, issues, and roadblocks
- Support configuration, mapping, debugging, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
- Develop formulas, rules, logic, and scripts to support client-specific configuration requirements
- Perform unit testing and system testing to validate configured functionality against requirements
- Support integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect resolution, and go-live readiness activities
- Help clients develop confidence using the solution through training, knowledge transfer, and hands-on support
- Manage multiple project tasks, deadlines, follow-up items, and client deliverables simultaneously
- Partner with project managers, technical teams, functional consultants, and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
- Provide application support and guidance for complex Workforce Software configuration and administrative issues
Skills
- 4+ years of Workforce Software / WorkForce Suite implementation experience
- Experience implementing workforce management, time and labor, absence, scheduling, or related enterprise software solutions
- Strong understanding of Workforce Software configuration principles, implementation lifecycles, and delivery best practices
- Experience with system configuration, business rules, logic, formulas, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
- Technical aptitude with experience using SQL, JavaScript, scripting, or similar logic-based tools
- Ability to gather requirements, document business processes, and translate client needs into system functionality
- Experience supporting or leading client workshops, discovery sessions, requirements reviews, and testing activities
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
- Understanding of waterfall, agile, or hybrid project delivery methodologies
- Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive projects, tasks, and deliverables simultaneously
- Experience working directly with clients in a consulting, implementation, or application support capacity
- Strong communication, documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
- Post-secondary education, technical certification, or equivalent business experience
- Ability to travel as needed based on client or project requirements
- Experience and/or certifications with Workforce Software / WorkForce Suite Time, Absence, Scheduling, and Integrations
- Experience with report writers or reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, Cognos, Actuate, or similar platforms
- Familiarity with workforce management integrations involving payroll, HRIS, HCM, ERP, or timekeeping systems
- Experience working with enterprise clients in complex implementation environments
- Background in time and labor management, scheduling, absence management, or workforce operations
- Experience providing application support for complex software systems
- Ability to learn new tools quickly and adapt to changing client and project needs
- Strong client service mindset with the ability to build trust, rapport, and confidence with stakeholders
