They are seeking a Senior Project Manager to manage the project lifecycle in power generation, ensuring coordination among stakeholders and delivering projects that meet client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management of assigned projects; Function as the project manager / program manager
- Take ownership of internal project financials, staffing, legal coordination, and risk management
- Facilitate planning and kickoff meetings to ensure alignment among all project stakeholders
- Support projects through complete life cycle including the feasibility phase, preliminary and detailed design, issue-for-bid, construction, start-up, and commissioning
- Facilitate the design process, including conducting "page-turn design reviews" and equipment fabrication reviews at key project milestones (30%, 60%, and 100% design completion)
- Work closely with the technical delivery team (incl subcontractors) to confirm deliverables and services are being provided to exceed client’s satisfaction. This includes coordination with team members across the world
- Deliver projects in accordance with the AECOM Quality Management System (QMS) process
- Proposal support / capture leadership to support business development activities
- Identify project opportunities early and facilitate go/no-go decisions, determine project fees, write proposals, prepare and lead client presentations, and negotiation of contracts
- Client development through existing contracts/relationships including managing key accounts and developing new accounts
- Occasional travel to client or project sites
- Responsible for the overall management administration to project and assists in establishing project specific objectives and policies
- Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies, and a primary liaison between AECOM and client interface
- Oversees and ensures all facets of the project are delivered in accordance with design, budget and schedule through subordinate managers and supervisors
- Responsible for administering the project from budgeting/schedule stage through procurement and contract closeout. Position has significant profit/loss responsibility for assigned project
Skills
- Bachelor of Science (Engineering degree preferred)
- 6 years of relevant project management experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Project Management experience directly related to power generation projects
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex engineering projects and/or programs
- Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Professional Engineering Licensure (PE)
- Nuclear project experience
- +15 Years of relevant experience, power generation or heavy industrial
- Experience in managing projects worked in collaborative model environments (e.g. Navisworks, BIM/ACC)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proven ability to manage large-scale, complex projects in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated success working in a remote team environment
