The Senior Oracle Tax Technology Consultant will support partner-led implementations of Avalara's indirect tax and global compliance solutions, collaborating with partners to ensure high-quality integrations within Oracle ERP environments.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with partner firms to guide Avalara solution design, configuration, and integration
- Provide technical expertise and best practices for partner-led deployments
- Support enablement and best practices for scalable, compliant global projects involving VAT, GST, and e-invoicing compliance
- Deliver partner enablement, training, and solution walkthroughs
- Collaborate internally to enhance partner tools, documentation, and delivery standards
- Use AI tools to accelerate and improve accuracy and relevance of responses to partner inquiries
Skills
- 5+ years of experience in indirect tax technology implementations with Oracle Cloud ERP and/or EBS
- Hands-on experience integrating Oracle Cloud ERP or Oracle EBS with third-party tax engines (Vertex, ONESOURCE, Avalara)
- Advise and help partner teams
- Familiarity with APIs, XML, and cloud SaaS integration principles
- Proficiency with business productivity AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT) to improve efficiency, analysis, and collaboration in implementation projects
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field (advanced certifications)
